Our kids are the present and the future of our congregation and our communities. We want them grounded in faith and filled with purpose.
Sunday Mornings
Kids Around the Font
Sundays during worship
“Let the little children come to me.” In the manner of Christ’s request, kids are called to the baptismal font to participate in an exchange of stories that relate to the gospel message. The kids excitedly share their views and always leave the adults with a fresh understanding of the word of God.
Sunday School
September-May, 9:00-9:45 a.m.
Sunday School is an age-appropriate, engaging opportunity for kids to learn and grow in their faith. Our classrooms are secure and are taught by qualified instructors holding background clearances. Sunday School is offered from September through May for kids age 3 through 6th grade.
Children’s Choir
Sundays during Sunday School
Voices as young as three combine with those through 6th grade in our Sunday School Choir. Our instructor is a classically trained musician who understands how to make music fun for children. The choir meets when Sunday School is in session and sings on various Sundays and holidays.
Rose Room
Sunday mornings
The Rose Room is comfortable, spacious, and outfitted with a sound system, so parents don’t miss the service. The floor is carpeted for the safety of little feet that need to move.
Special Programs
Advent Adventurers
Various times
Third through sixth graders gain a sense of pride and purpose, as they learn how to care for those in need. Projects include a food collection for a Pre-K educational program for children below the poverty level. These children would otherwise go without breakfast and lunch.
Vacation Bible School
Annually in July
At VBS, young campers, who come from a variety of faith backgrounds, will build character and values while learning how to serve God and others. VBS is where memories and friendships are made!
