Advent men will gather via Zoom to review and discuss Romans Chapter 2.

Like Luther, we studied Galatians prior to Romans, prioritizing these two New Testament books. Luther lectured at Wittenberg on Romans and Galatians from 1515 to 1517, just prior to his "95 Theses" being posted, initiating the Reformation. Last month we discussed Chapter 1, including the pivotal version 1 : 17.

For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith."

We’ll also have informal discussion about current events at Advent, and our tentative plans for a "field trip” of our group to the Gettysburg Campus of the United Lutheran Seminary and the Seminary Ridge Museum this coming October / November.
